Although most of my photography is done in Northumberland i do venture further afield to photograph different subjects,my favourite place being Mull where the amount and variety of wildlife is outstanding.

Favourite Subject
Badgers and Otters are top of the list but i find any wildlife amazing.

Equipment
Having some of the latest equipment certainly helps but even with a 500ml Lens you still need to be pretty close to a small bird to get a decent sized image,this means good fieldcraft is vital to avoid stress and disturbance of the subject. The equipment i use is:

Also on this site is a range of A5 Greetings Cards,the landscapes are all local scenes taken on or near the Roman Wall and the Wildlife cards are just a few of the many wonderful creatures i have been fortunate enough to photograph in my short photographic career.

These cards are available for sale and the back of each greeting card contains information about the featured bird or mammal and includes it's latin name.The inside of the greeting card has been left blank for your own personal message. Printed on 350gsm board and supplied with envelope wrapped in plastic.
